What visitors say

★★★★★

“If you are searching for an authentic culinary experience in Alicante, Casablanca is definitely a spot worth considering—especially if your main priority is the food. However, you might want to bring a little extra patience along with your appetite.Let’s start with the absolute best part: the food. The paella here is outstanding. Cooked to absolute perfection, the rice had that flawless texture, rich depth of flavor, and just the right amount of socarrat (the delicious, crispy caramelized layer at the bottom of the pan). Whether you opt for the seafood or the traditional meat version, the quality of the ingredients truly shines through. It is easily one of the best paellas you can find in the area. Unfortunately, where Casablanca shines in the kitchen, it stumbles a bit in the dining room. During our visit, there were noticeable organizational issues. The staff was friendly, but the pacing was quite disorganized. We experienced significant delays between ordering and actually receiving our dishes. Waiting for the mains took much longer than expected, which disrupted the flow of an otherwise lovely evening. It felt like the kitchen and the front-of-house staff weren't entirely in sync. If you plan on ordering paella (which usually takes time anyway), consider ordering a few quick tapas right away to tide you over during the wait”
